Last weekend we headed to Charleston for some wedding fun and a short beach trip! We took the trip to celebrate my cousin, Jake and Keri's wedding and ended up doing a little beach trip at the end of the trip. We flew out Thursday and the wedding was Friday night. The first half of the trip we stayed with Mammy and Doo Da so the girls got some time with them, swimming, shopping for pirate costumes (for our Disney cruise!) and toys and park fun! Alston and Travis got in a Member/Guest tournament at Travis' club so they played in that Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Even though it was quick, it was nice to see family and see Jake and Keri get married...it was a fun and beautiful wedding at Boone Hall Plantation!

For the second half of the trip, Alston left Sunday and the girls and I went to stay with my parents in their condo on the beach from Sunday to Wednesday. We had great weather the whole trip, especially to be out at the beach! We got 2 full days at the beach and the girls loved to look for shells (we collected a lot!), jump in the waves (although there were jellyfish!), fly kites, and just dig in the sand! Mommy loved taking long walks on the beach! I was nervous to fly back with the girls alone but Dee Dee bribed them before we left and it worked...they were great on the trip home! :-) Thank you to Dee Dee and Pops for having us out to the condo!
