The Howard Family: 2 Months!

Our little Ella Bear turned two months on Sunday, May 6th! On Monday the 7th we had her 2 month check up and all looked great... She weighs 10. 9 pounds and is 22 inches long...growing like a little weed! She had her first big round of vaccines and did great (they give her the first one and she drew in her breath, held it for a while and then let out a loud cry!...poor baby she cried until all the shots were done and Dad picked her up). Here are some stats from the past month:

You are in size 1 diapers...at the beginning of this month they were too big and now they fit you pretty well!
Nicknames: Ella Bear, the Bear, Bear, Bearstein, Girlfriend
You are starting to smile and laugh so much and when we walk in to get you from a nap in your crib you smile at us... melt my heart!
You are starting to coo and gurgle a lot too! We love talking to you!
You are actually sleeping through the night and have been for the last 2 weeks! Anywhere from around 6 hours all the way up to 9 hours straight! So amazing...we think all due to this little miracle called the woombie that my amazing friend Sarah told me about!
I still nurse you during the day (4-5 times) and then Dad usually feeds you a bottle at night and I feed you the middle of the night bottle-if you get up.
We are staring to do a lot more tummy time and you are actually enjoying it! You are strong as an ox and do pretty well holding your head up.
Uncle T-Bone came to visit a couple weeks ago and loved seeing you....although we couldn't get him to change your diaper! :)
Debbie and John (Mammy and DooDa) came to visit for your 2 month weekend and LOVED taking care of you! They even let Mom and Dad have a date night out and they took you out to dinner with them.
We have taken you to dinner a million times and you do so well out and about! I think you love all the loud noise.
Dad (Pops) comes by most Friday's and some on the weekend to visit and see you. He loves to sing to you and tell you stories!
Mom (DeeDee) has been such a huge help, coming over to help Mommy while she works and run errands. She loves to come see you both to visit and babysit!
You absolutely LOVE bath time...you always have! You are starting to get to big for the sink! Soon we will have to be a big girl and start bathing in the tub!
