Happy 6 Months Sweet Ella Bella! It is such a bittersweet post...I am so happy at where Ella is right now, but so sad how quickly it is gone by to get to this point! Just looking back at photos at how little and different she looked just a couple months ago. I LOVE her at this stage and I know how many more awesome things are to come! She is such a HAPPY baby and we love watching her grow everyday! We love you sweet girl!
- You are in size 2 diapers.
- You are wearing 3 months, 3-6 months, and 6 month clothes.
- You are sleeping in sleep sacks (including the woombie) but arms free! Yay!
- You LOVE sleeping on your stomach (kind of scary but no matter how or where we put you, you roll to your stomach).
- You love your jumparoo.
- You are being baptized at our church (St. Andrews United Methodist), September 8th, 2012 (Mammy D, Doo Da and Aunt Tiff came into town for it).
- You still LOVE Charlie (you smile and laugh at him all the time! and love to stick your hands in his mouth).
- You are sleeping from about 8 pm to 7:30-8 am.
- Nicknames: Ella Bear, Ella Bella, Love Bug, Missy Moo, Missy Maydle (Precious, Princess and My Ella from other family members).
- You talk and love to hear your voice (you make all kinds of funny sounds from this low growl to a high pitch scream!).
- You scream when you are bored, annoyed or tired.
- You know your name.
- I nurse you 3-4 times a day and you get solid foods in the morning and last nursing and then Daddy gives you a bottle before bed (so far you have eaten oatmeal cereal, avocado, sweet potatoes and bananas).
- You love to "stand" and you are trying to sit up (it is funny you want to try and sit up from laying down and it looks like you are doing a "crunch").
- You love when Mommy sings the ABC's (all smiles)! You love that I make special noises at "G", "P" and "Zzzz".
- Still no teeth...but you are drooling and chewing on your hand a lot!
- You might be trying to finally get on a nap schedule...we will see how long it lasts! You take 2 naps one around 10ish and another around 3ish.
- You fuss for a minute when we put your sleep sack/woombie on before naps and bed time, but you really go down with no problem. You might cry yourself to sleep for a minute, but it doesn't last long, usually you will roll over pretty quickly and go to sleep.
- You weight 15 lbs and 10 oz and are 25 3/4 inches long.
- You LOVE it when Daddy comes home and you see him for the first time! It is so amazing to watch you get so happy and excited! I know this won't last forever, but it is so AWESOME to watch now!
