Zoo Time!

Yesterday (Memorial Day) we decided to go to the zoo!  It was Alston's idea and even though it was going to rain we decided to go!  Glad we did- it was a great day, cloudy and not too crowded!  It rained for the first 45 mins we were there and then cleared up so that wasn't too bad!  We started off at the Children's Zoo (feeding and petting the goats, feeding the ducks and pony rides!) and then we headed to see the elephants, tigers, giraffes, zebras and gorillas....we even got to feed the giraffes!  Ella had a great time and Callie did pretty well (got a little antsy toward the end!).  Overall a FUN first trip to the zoo!!

We ended the day with a McDonald's sundae, although we now know she doesn't like chocolate...what kid doesn't like chocolate!?!?  :-)
