Happy Thanksgiving (Weekend)!

So many things to be THANKFUL for this year (family, health, happiness, friends...just to name a few)! This year for Thanksgiving we were looking forward to a few days with daddy off work! Thursday morning Alston and I ran the Turkey Trot in our neighborhood with the girls...it was freezing but they did great!  This was our first year (they started it last year) and it was so fun...strollers and dogs are allowed!

After that we went home and made Mac and Cheese to take to the Rader's.  We are so fortunate to be able to do Thanksgiving with them for over 10 years! And I love that the group gets bigger and bigger each year!  This year we had 19 people (including the kiddos!).  So much yummy food, I ate WAY too much but still had to try all the yummy desserts before we left!

Dee Dee and Pops came over after we ate to watch the Cowboys game.  Such a nice and relaxing and THANKFUL day/evening!

Friday after Thanksgiving Alston and I took Ella to Disney on Ice!  This was a first for us all!  We decided that Callie was a little too young to go this time so Dee Dee and Pops stayed home with her (thank you Dee Dee and Pops!). The show we went to was Disney on Ice's Princess and Hero's!  Ella was excited and she wore her Sofia the First costume from Halloween!  She was unsure of it all at first but quickly got mesmerized by all the skaters....She liked seeing Mickey and Minnie, who came out at the beginning of each "act".  And of course Goofy came out at the end with Cinderella and she loved seeing him.  She didn't know too many of the princesses and heroes but that didn't stop her from liking it!
