While we were on our Disney World trip last October we mentioned wanting to do a Disney Cruise for our next vacation so when Callie got diagnosed with diabetes right after that trip, Doo Da got on it to book our next trip...a cruise on the Disney Fantasy... everyone wanted something to look forward to and it did help to get through those first few months knowing we had something exciting coming up! Fast forward a few month and on June 2nd, the girls, Alston and I flew to Orlando and took a car to Port Canaveral to meet Mammy and Doo Da to get on the ship! It was an amazing trip and a great time was had by ALL!
Highlights from the trip:
- Ella missed her first big dance recital but it was ok cause we were on a DISNEY CRUISE :-)
- Daddy surprising us with a limo to take us from Orlando to Port Canaveral!
- Callie went potty on the airplane... this was a huge success that she overcame this fear! Yay!
- Seeing a rocket blast off as we sailed away the first night.
- Seeing ALL the characters and princesses (Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Daisy, Donald, Chip and Dale, Goofy, Princess Sophia, Doc McStuffins, Stitch, Tinker Bell, Cinderella, Tiana, Ariel, Belle)
- Ella helping Callie go to the bathroom in the kids club :-)
- Our awesome waiters Mathew and Nicolas! (really all the staff was amazing!)
- Talking to Crush the first night... (Hey Dudette!) Him describing my shirt so I knew he was talking to me! and asking me where we were from and I said "Dallas" and he said "Dallas, never heard of it!". Then he asked how we say "hello" in Dallas and I said "Howdy" so the whole restaurant said "Howdy"...it was a fun night!

- Callie loving the cruise director Natalie...she was awesome! And even found out that she had a brother with a child who was recently diagnosed with T1D! After meeting Callie she send a special note with some extra pixie dust for Callie and Ella!
ALL ABOARD!
June 3rd, we got on the ship and we immediately saw Pluto and Minnie! We ate lunch and got to explore the ship some and get settled in our room before the sailaway party! The girls splashed in Nemo's Reef and went down the yellow slide. Callie was too short for the Aquaduck but she didn't seem to mind! The first night was dinner was one of the best...we had it in Animators Palate and we got to talk to Crush! I hate we have no pictures or video of it but it was a memorable night for sure!

SHIP DAY
June 4th was our first full day on the ship was a ship day! We hung out at the pool, rode the yellow slide, the aquaduck, I had a massage, it was the captains reception and formal night! We got to say hello to Princess Sophia and Doc McStuffins!
