Last Day of School, Alston's Work Trip and Callie's First Recital

Thursday, May 18th the girls had their last day of school.  Ella "graduated" from pre-k and is headed to Kindergarten!  I really still can't believe it (I'm in denial)!  Callie will have one more year at St. Andrew Preschool (CWP).  It was a GREAT year and both girls grew so much!  Ella really came out of this school year a different kid (so smart, artistic, and grew in confidence so much!), really came out of her shell!). Callie has had quite a year too and overcome so much, she is our little, fighter and hero!  We are so proud of both of you girls and you will do so much great stuff in your lives, we can't wait to watch you continue to grow and blossom!  They had their end of the year parties this day and even Daddy made it to the end of the year parties!

After school, Alston and I headed to the Four Seasons in Las Colinas for his Peak work trip (thank you so much Dee Dee and Pops for watching the girls and Charlie all weekend!).  Thursday night we went to Southfork and had a "country night", Alston rode a mechanical bull, and we got to pick out a cowboy hat to keep!  Friday, we headed to Cowboy's stadium for lots of football fun!  We were put in teams and completed to see who could punt, pass and kick the furthest!  We even played a flag football game!  Saturday we went out to the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament for a little while and then relaxed by the pool before the awards dinner that night.  It was a fun weekend away and I know the girls had a great time with Dee Dee and Pops!

Sunday when we got home, Callie Ballie had her 1st dance recital!  She did great, she had a rough start (not sure she knew what to expect with everyone staring at her), but then she warmed up and did great!  So proud of you are tiny little dancer!

We love Ms. Lisa!
