This past weekend we took the girls to Crested Butte to go skiing. Alston wanted them to see snow this year so we thought we would try skiing! It was an easy trip flying into Gunnison with Crested Butte only being about 30 mins away! We stayed at the base at a resort called Elevation so we didn't have to lug all the gear back a forth!
The girls did 2 days of ski school and did great (although Callie didn't want to do the second day we talked her into and she ended up enjoying it!)! Alston snowboarded and I looked after Callie's numbers and hung around the base so I could dose her. Crested Butte has a cute little town to shop and eat and was only about a 5 mins bus ride away. We saw a little snow falling but not much...they were in need to snow while we were there. It was a great first ski trip and I think both girls want to go back!
