A few weeks after school started, Alston and I with 3 other couples (The Geans, The Pooles and The Schwabauers) headed for a long weekend away to Cabo! I was so excited when Megan invited us because we had never been to Cabo and I had wanted to go! Cabo is so different because it is part beach and part mountains/desert. And you can't really get in the water because it is so rough The place we stayed was awesome, a 4 bed room condo at a cool resort, Esperanza. It wasn't really crowded and at times we pretty much had the place to ourselves! We all flew in Thursday morning and when we got there we headed straight to the pool.
We had some beverages and lunch and hung out there until dinner. Friday we went and drove ATVs on the beach and then hung out by the pool in the afternoon! That night we headed to the One and Only Palmilla Resort for dinner.
Saturday the guys played golf and the girls went to the spa and in the afternoon we meet up at the pool. Saturday was Mexico's Independence Day so we stayed at our resort and celebrated Independence Day with fireworks, music, dancing and lots of awesome food! We had a great time!!
