Birthday Celebrations!

Ella had a wonderful 1st birthday with so many celebrations! The actual birthday day started out with breakfast with Daddy (he went in to work a little late so he could eat breakfast with her).  She had a big girl breakfast of waffles and blueberries! :)

We then met some friends (Nicolle, Kendall, Megan and Jett) for coffee in the neighborhood.

Then we went to meet Mom (DeeDee) for lunch!

We ended the birthday day with opening a few gifts from friends and family.

We celebrated the BIG birthday on Sunday (March 10th) and Mammy D and Doo Da came in town for the big celebration.  Pictures of the decorations (I got the idea of the painted canvas's from Sarah Tucker...so cute she did this at Charlotte's 1st birthday), Ella helped paint them! and I got the idea for the 0-12 month pictures hanging on the fireplace from Erin Simpson (so cute I had to copy it!).

Unfortunately, we choose to do the celebration on the day of day light savings so schedules were a little messed up but it all worked out! Dee Dee and Pops came over about noon and we ordered pizza for everyone and then after Ella woke up from her nap we got her dressed in her adorable birthday outfit and took pictures with everyone and then feed her lunch and opened gifts.

After we open gifts it was time for CAKE!  She was so cute, she wasn't quite sure what to do with it and she didn't just love digging in...although she did love the cake and icing!! :)

Ella Bear, I hope you had a GREAT 1st birthday!!!  We had such a wonderful time celebrating your birthday!  We love you more than you will ever know and we look forward to celebrating many, many more!!!  You are such a blessing to us!  Love, Mom and Dad (and Charlie)
