Charleston Trip Part 2

Monday (June 3rd), Alston flew back home (boooo) to work for the week so Debbie and I took Ella to the Charleston Aquarium!  It was a great day for it because it was the first day it rained since we got here!  We walked around the Aquarium and saw lots of fish, birds, alligators, sting-rays, etc!  Ella did great and loved seeing all the fish!

Tuesday (June 4th), Debbie and I took Ella to the beach in the morning before her nap.  It was so nice out and not crowded!  Even Uncle T-bone snuck away from work to visit us!  Then after her nap that afternoon Debbie and I took her to this cute park in the Old Village.

Wednesday (June 5th), Debbie and I took Ella for a walk in the wagon and to the park in their neighborhood and then ran a couple of errands.  It was on and off rain so it was a good day to just relax!

Thursday (June 6th), Ella, Debbie and I left to head to Greenville/Spartanburg for the night.  One of the reasons I wanted to come to Charleston for a while was to also have time to go up to see mine and Alston's family (my Mama and Papa and his Meme and Papa).  Debbie's brother was so nice to come get her in Clinton on the way up so I didn't have to drop her off in Greenville and then head to Spartanburg (I wanted to try and have as much time as possible with Mama and Papa).  So Ella and I headed to Mama and Papas for lunch and dinner.  We then spent the night at my Aunt Pat and Uncle J's house and we got to see my cousins Jake (and his girlfriend), Katie and Emily!  Mama and Papa came back over for breakfast the next morning to visit with us before we drove to Greenville.

Friday (June 7th), Alston flew into GSP that afternoon and Ella and I met him (and John and Debbie) at his grandparents house (Meme and Papa) for lunch.  We had a great visit with them and one of Debbie's sisters, Terry also came over to visit.  We then left about 4pm to head back to Charleston for 2 more nights before we flew home on Sunday.

Saturday (June 8th), we had one last time at the beach! This time Ella didn't really want to sit...but pretty much walked the whole time we were out there!

Sunday (June 9th), we all flew home.  :( So was not ready to get back to reality!  Somewhere throughout the trip (during the second week), Ella fully started walking!  She doesn't crawl anymore!  :(  My baby is growing way too fast!  It is fun to watch her be so proud of her self as she struts everywhere and explores everything!  It was such a FUN trip and we did so many fun things and lots of firsts for Ella!  Thank you to Mammy and Doo Da for letting us stay for 2 weeks and doing all the fun activities with us!!
