Last weekend Ashley, Matt, Alston and I headed to Charleston to hangout in Charleston and then go to Clemson for the Clemson vs Notre Dame game! Little did we know it would be a huge rain event over the whole state, insane!! Alston and I were excited to show Ashley and Matt Charleston, the guys were going to play golf and we were going to go to some fun places in Charleston...the problem was the RAIN! We still had a great time despite the weather! We flew in Thursday night and hung out till way past our bedtime! Friday we got up went to breakfast and then ran around and got ready for the tailgate. Friday night we went to happy hour at Waters Edge (Trav's favorite watering hole!) and then ate across Shem Creek at Table and Tavern. We then got up at the crack of dawn on Saturday and made the drive to Clemson...it look a little longer because of the rain and because we stopped to get rain gear! :-)
We finally made it to Clemson and set up our tailgate...it rained on and off but we still had fun! The game ended up in our favor...thankfully!!! We drove back to Charleston on Sunday and flew home Monday morning. I hated it but because of the weather my aunt and uncle didn't set up their tailgate, but my cousins Katie and Emily still came so they hung out with us for a little while at our tent!
There was a lot of flooding all over the stated but thankfully not ever where we were! It was a FUN weekend with FUN people...Ashley and Matt need to come back in the summer and check out Charleston again!!! :-)
