Surprise Disney Trip! (Disney Day 1)

We finally got to tell the girls we were going...because it was the day we were leaving for DISNEY! The girls woke up that morning (October 1st) and we had them come downstairs, Alston asked them what they would like to do that day...Ella said "Chuck E Cheese", Callie said "Peter Piper Pizza", Alston then said how about we do something better than those...I then lifted a blanket that we had covering their Cinderella costumes, Minnie dresses and backpacks they take on the plane!   They were so excited to find out we were headed to Disney right after breakfast!!  And extra excited that Mammy, Doo Da, Dee Dee and Pops were going with us too!

Ella had been sick (she had C-Diff) before we left but thankfully we were able to get her well enough to go!  We ate breakfast and then got dressed and headed to the airport where Dee Dee and Pops met us.  Mammy and Doo Da drove down to Orlando the night before and were so awesome to get us food and drinks for our condo!  We booked a 3 bedroom condo at Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary so we could all stay together and it was so nice...it had an awesome view of the castle and Space Mountain and we could see the fireworks every night!

As soon as we got to the condo we headed out to Magic Kingdom!  We were able to go get our tickets and head in.  As soon as we headed down Main Street a parade was starting...it was an AWESOME introduction to Disney for the girls!  They loved seeing Minnie and Mickey and friends!  After the parade we rode the Winnie the Poo ride and when we came out it was pouring...so unfortunately that was the only ride we were able to ride that night.
